My name is Ingrid Els, Miniature Bear Artist,  from  Kleinmond Western Cape, South Africa and home language Afrikaans but feel free to write to me in English.

My love for miniature toys  and  German Folk Art  began  when  I  was  raised  in Windhoek, Namibia, former South West Africa.

I made my first teddy bear in June 1999 and became a full-time  bear artist and designer since February 2000.

Originally, my bears were made with mohair but I prefer to create  OOAK  collectable miniature bears and their friends, ranging between 2.5cm and 7cm, made with vintage Upholstery Velvet and different mini fabrics.

My bears are made with the finest detail and comes with a birth certificate

Through my bear making I've met wonderful people all over the world and   I want to thank all the collectors and friends,  who made it possible for me to continue my career.
